We've sorted out the Baltimore County Restaurant Week offers for you

August 13, 2012|By Richard Gorelick | The Baltimore Sun

Baltimore County Restaurant Week runs through Sunday.

The county's version, compared to the city's, is either a model of democracy or sheer anarchy, depending on how you look at it.

Participating restaurants can offer lunch and dinner menus ranging in price from  $10.12 to $35.12 for one, two or three courses. That makes comparing menus kind of tricky.  Here, at least, you can see the special menus grouped by price.

A few restaurants have gone completely rogue;

Friendly Farm adjusts its fixed price depending on what you order -- a fried chicken dinner is $15 and a ribeye is $25. All dinners come with apple butter, cottage cheese, cole slaw, relish dish, hot rolls, sugar biscuits, hot vegetable, hand-cut french fries, fruit, beverage and dessert.

The Green Turtle in Owings Mills and Towson are offering a $15 two-for-one sandwich special. Pasta Blitz's offer I couldn't figure out at all.

The Seahorse Inn is offering a list of $10.12 menu items but not courses.

The Suburban House is offering a two-for-one special at lunch ($30.12) and dinner ($35.12)
