Man, 20, shot after dispute at block party

Victim reported in critical condition

A 20-year-old man was shot Saturday night in Northwest Baltimore, police reported Sunday morning.

Officers found the man in the 3000 block of Woodland Ave. suffering multiple gunshot wounds to the torso and left arm, police said.

The victim was taken to Sinai Hospital, where he was in critical condition, police said.

Police said the victim had been at a block party on Woodland Ave. when he was approached by a person who pulled a handgun and opened fire after the two got into a verbal confrontation, police said.

The suspect fled on foot, police said. No description of the suspect was available and a motive was not known, police said.
