'Ice Cream Social and Everything Hot Dogs'

'Paint It!'

Youth baseball

The Elkridge Hurricanes 11-and-under travel baseball team will hold tryouts from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, at Rockburn Branch Park, Field No. 7. Interested players must be younger than 12 as of May 1, 2013. Those who plan to try out should email Cary Connell at cjconnell@comcast.net. The team will play a limited fall schedule and compete in the Mid Atlantic Baseball Association's spring league and a number of local tournaments next summer.

Coed soccer

Registration is open for the Elkridge Youth Organization's coed fall soccer league. The program is for players ages 4-18, and all games are played at Rockburn Park.
