Critter chow-down

Wednesdays through the end of August, 3 p.m., Eden Mill Nature Center, Pylesville. Join the staff in the nature center to feed the critters. Fishing rods

Aug. 14, 7:30 p.m. Steve Fogle of Backyard Custom Rods and Repairs will discuss how to choose a custom fishing rod and will provide tips on rod building at the monthly meeting of the Northwest Chapter of the Maryland Saltwater Sportfishing Association. The meeting will be held at the Patapsco Council No. 1960 Knights of Columbus Hall at 1010 Frederick Road in Catonsville. Please use the Beaumont Avenue (side) entrance. Purple Heart 3-D
