Man stabbed in city last month dies

Police identify victim, investigating homicide

Baltimore police have identified a man they found stabbed last month who later died. Police said that Ezra Bunch, 27, of the 2600 block of Monument St. was found stabbed in the chest in Northwest Baltimore on July 23. He died Aug. 1 at Sinai Hospital. The case is being investigated as a homicide.

Police determined that the victim had been attacked in the 5100 block of Reisterstown Road near a convenience store.

Police said that Bunch was reported to have been talking to three men near the store when he was stabbed in the chest. Police said that Bunch walked into Reisterstown Road, where he collapsed and was subsequently struck by a vehicle. They said the victim then rose and collapsed a second time. He was discovered by an investigating police officer near a Reisterstown Road residence.
