Traffic: Accident on I-95 south near Key Highway

No major delays on area transit systems

As of 9 a.m. Friday, traffic was slow on I-95 southbound at Key Highway, due to an accident.

Accidents were slowing traffic at Boston and Clinton streets in Baltimore City, Mount Carmel Road near Evna Road in Baltimore County, and I-97 southbound near Aviation Boulevard in Anne Arundel County.

A disabled vehicle was blocking traffic on I-95 northbound near the Fort McHenry Tunnel.

Traffic was slow on York Road at Lincoln Street in Baltimore County, due to emergency road work.

Traffic was slow on I-895 near the Steel Bridge, due to construction activity.

Monument Street is closed between Wolfe Street and Patterson Park Avenue in East Baltimore, due to sinkhole repairs. Maryland Transit Administration bus 35 has been diverted.

Light Street is closed from Baltimore to Lombard streets due to water main repairs. Some bus routes have been diverted due to the repair work.

Maryland Transit Administration buses 36 and 51 have been diverted from Monroe Street due to a sinkhole. Bus 36 has been diverted from Kirk Avenue and Gorsuch Avenue due to a sinkhole.

There are no major delays reported on Baltimore area transit systems.
