Obama lacks leadership values

August 02, 2012

In response to the editorial criticizing Mitt Romney for stretching the truth ("Romney rewrites history," July 27), I would note that we once had a president who said the "buck stops here." Now, we have one who blames anything and everything onGeorge W. Bush and whatever else is convenient.

We once had a president who said, "Ask not what your country can do for you — ask what you can do for your country." Our current leader would reverse that sentiment and recommend you ask what your country can do for you, not what you can do for your country.

What happened to the good old days and real leaders?
