The National Weather Service is calling for Wednesday to be mostly cloudy in the Baltimore area, with a high near 89 and south winds 3 to 8 miles per hour. There is a 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2 p.m. New rainfall amounts between one quarter of an inch and one half of an inch are possible.

A coastal flood advisory is in effect Wednesday morning for sensitive flood areas near Annapolis.

Wednesday night is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a low around 75 and northeast winds 6 to 11 miles per hour or less. There is a 60 percent chance of precipitation.

Thursday is expected to be mostly sunny, with a high near 93 and northwest winds around 5 miles per hour in the afternoon.

Thursday night is expected to be mostly clear, with a low around 70 and south winds around 5 miles per hour or less.
