A Frederick man fell to his death at a new condo construction site in Hanover Tuesday morning, Anne Arundel County police said.

Ismael Celestino Lopez-Rojas, 32, an employee for a subcontractor of roofing company Topper Construction, had climbed onto a roof of the three-story condo at 1475 Dorsey Road to secure a safety-anchor, when police said he apparently lost his footing, and fell off of the roof, shortly before 7 a.m.

Lopez-Rojas, of Mountaingate Drive, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The office of the medical examiner and MOSHA are investigating his death.
