Nearly 6,400 customers lost power as a result of thunderstorms Thursday night, mostly in Baltimore County and Howard County, and the majority had service back by Friday morning, according to BGE Corp.
According to BGE, 6,382 customers lost power in the storm that began around 8:30 p.m. Thursday. As of 7 a.m. Friday, power was out for 337 customers, and power was restored for 6,045 customers since the storm began.
The breakdown includes: 23 customers still out of power in Anne Arundel County and 41 customers with power restored in Anne Arundel County; 237 customers out of power in Baltimore County and 1,707 customers with power restored in Baltimore County and 1 customer out of power in Baltimore City and 354 customers with power restored in Baltimore City.
Also, 0 customers out of power in Calvert County and 2 customers with power restored in Calvert County, 35 customers out of power in Carroll County and 48 customers with power restored in Carroll County; 25 customers out of power in Harford County and 510 customers with power restored in Harford County; 4 customers out of power in Howard County and 3,188 customers with power restored in Howard County; 12 customers out of power in Montgomery County and 26 customers with power restored in Montgomery County, and 0 customers out of power inPrince George's Countyand 169 customers with power restored in Prince George's County.
