Ocean City's search for the perfect "Song of Summer" has ended right here in Baltimore, with local resident Chuck Conjar's jammin' tune, "Ocean City Days."
The song won after receiving the most votes from the public and beating out two other finalists. "Ocean City Days" now becomes the town's official anthem of Summer 2012.
More than 50 original songs were entered in the contest with organizers choosing the top three and letting the public vote for their favorite. Conjar's song received more than 3,000 out of the nearly 5,600 votes cast in the contest.
As the winner, Conjar will be able to have the song produced and recorded in O.C. and he also gets to perform it at Sunfest 2012. Ocean City plans to offer a free download at the iTunes store. But you can listen to it now at ococean.com/songofsummer.
