Don't look for Michael Phelps during the Opening Ceremonies. He competes Saturday, and says it's not good to stand very long so close to a swim. Do keep your eyes out for Beatle Paul McCartney and James Bond, played by Daniel Craig.

Each night of the Olympics, WBAL-TV's Donna Hamilton and Gerry Sandusky will profile Maryland athletes on "The Olympic Zone." The half-hour show comes on at 7:30 p.m., except tonight, when it starts at 7 p.m.
