The sporting good store Poor Boys is hoping to add some sizzle to its latest store opening by dangling live Terrell Suggs autograph time as an incentive.
But folks who want those signatures will have to pay for it. To have Suggs put his John Hancock on an item, it will cost $65.
That's roughly $5.41 per letter.
Then, if you want Suggs to actually write a message along with the signature, that's $90.
Even for that price, the Ravens linebacker won't get up and take a picture with fans. People are, however, allowed to snap away while Suggs is signing. "We just can't have him stop signing to pose for any pictures at the request of his agency," Poor Boys says on its Facebook page.
If all of this sounds like a bargain, the autograph session will be from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the new Abingdon location of Poor Boys Sports.
The store is asking folks to buy tickets ahead of time at the Dundalk or Parkville locations. People can buy tickets at the new store, too, 2913 Emmorton Road, but only in cash.
More than 50 people have already RSVP'd in the affirmative on Facebook. But not everyone thinks the price is right.
"I think that's just wrong that you have to pay 65 dollars for 1 autograph," Bob Smith Sr. wrote on Facebook.
