Man critically injured by gunshot in Central Park Heights area

Victim remains in critical condition with head wound

For the second time in less than a week, city police are dealing with violence in the Central Park Heights neighborhood.

At 5:05 p.m. Thursday, police found a 26-year-old man wounded in the 5100 block of Queensberry Ave., near the intersection with Spaulding Avenue and just south of West Belvedere Avenue. He had been shot in the head. He was taken to an area hospital, where he remains in critical condition, police said.

On Monday, Eric Andre Brown, 43, of Randallstown died at Sinai Hospital after he was shot and stabbed late Sunday in the 3200 block of Spaulding Ave., a few blocks west of the second shooting Thursday.
