Senior White House advisor Valerie Jarrett is holding two events in Maryland today -- one tied directly to President Barack Obama's campaign for reelection and the other a policy forum at Morgan State University focused on African Americans.
Jarrett, a longtime confidant of the Obamas, met with volunteers at a phonebank in Largo today, state Democrats said. She also spoke at a White House-organized policy forum that touched on education, the economy homeownership and Social Security.
