Blue-crab talk
Tuesday, 7:30p.m. Kelly Webb from the DNR Blue Crab Project will discuss blue-crab stock levels and research at the July meeting of the Northwest Chapter of the Maryland Saltwater Sportfishing Association. The meeting will be held at the Patapsco Council No. 1960 Knights of Columbus Hall at 1010 Frederick Road in Catonsville. Please use the Beaumont Avenue (side) entrance. Hunter safety
Aug. 8-18, Sept. 8-29. Baltimore County Game & Fish Protective Association will conduct two hunter-safety courses on club grounds at 3400 Northwind Road in Carney. For the first, registration is Aug.4 from 9a.m. to noon; classes are Aug.8, 9, 15 and 16 from 7p.m. to 9:30p.m.; and testing is Aug.18 from 8:30a.m. to noon. For the second, registration is Sept.8 from 9a.m. to noon; classes are Sept.19, 20, 26 and 27 from 7p.m. to 9:30p.m;; and testing is Sept.29 from 8:30a.m. to noon.
