O'Malley is a BGE butt-kicker?

Gov.Martin O'Malleyspun some useless post-storm drivel by saying, "There is no one who will keep a boot further up Pepco's and BGE's behind than I will" ("Post-storm swelter," July 2). Gee, I never knew he was such a foot soldier for the average BGE consumer.

Governor, sometimes it is a much better thing if you keep your pie hole shut. I'm certain that you didn't make any chums at Pepco or Baltimore Gas and Electric with your transparent machismo comment.

I had a "V8 moment" this morning. Perhaps our governor can round up all the pit bulls in the Maryland area and have them keep sentinel at the base of trees and BGE trucks in order to keep their employees away from a gubernatorial boot kick. It would go hand in hand with his new-found false bravado.
