Baltimore city police are investigating a shooting early Tuesday in the Hanlon-Longwood neighborhood on the city's west side.
A 49-year-old man was shot at 1:24 a.m. in the 3400 block of Mondawmin Avenue near the intersection with Denison Street. He sustained a lower body wound and was taken to an area hospital for treatment. He is expected to survive, police said.
