Traffic: Accident at I-695 outer loop near I-70

No major delays on transit systems

As of 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, traffic was slow on the outer loop of I-695 near I-70, due to an accident.

Accidents were slowing traffic on the outer loop of I-695 near I-795 in Baltimore County, Little Patuxent Parkway eastbound at Sterrett Place in Columbia, and Route 29 southbound near Patuxent Parkway in Howard County.

Traffic was slow on I-895 at the Steel Bridge, due to construction activity.

Light rail service is suspended between the Timonium and Hunt Valley stations due to construction work. A shuttle bus service is available instead.

There are no other delays reported on Baltimore area transit systems.
