The University of Baltimore will create a professorship in digital communication using a $1 million gift from alumnus and GoDaddy.com founder Bob Parsons.
GoDaddy is best known for its racy Super Bowl commercials, though the company's primary business is registering and hosting websites. Parsons, a Highlandtown native and 1975 UB graduate, said he wanted to introduce the professorship because "there is so much potential for entrepreneurs online right now."
