City police did a terrific job during Sailabration

June 23, 2012

I want to commend the men and women of the Baltimore City Police Department for the job they do every day and especially for their work when hundreds of thousands of people visited the city during Sailabration.

Crime could easily have spiked, given the huge influx of visitors, but due to proper deployment of police personnel, the problem was kept to a minimum. City Hall needs to publicly commend these officers for the umbrella of protection they provided. Theirs was a job well done.
