One man was fatally shot in Southwest Baltimore and two men were wounded in a double shooting in West Baltimore on Tuesday evening, according to police.

Police received a call at 6:18 p.m. for a shooting in the 2100 block of West Pratt Street, in the Carrollton Ridge neighborhood of Southwest Baltimore. They found a man shot in the torso, police said. The man was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

At 7:12 p.m., police received a call for a double shooting in the 2600 block of West Franklin Street in West Baltimore. They found a man with gunshot wounds to the head, leg and hand, said Detective Nicole Monroe, a police spokeswoman.

Shortly after, a second man walked into an area hospital "a short distance away" with a gunshot wound, which police were able to determine happened in the same location on West Franklin Street, Monroe said.

Monroe did not immediately have more details.
