Among the 58 calls the Arbutus Volunteer Fire Department received for medical, fire and rescue service during the period June 10-17 were the following:

Sulphur Spring Road, 1400 block, 5:16 p.m. June 14. Crews responded to the report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle in Arbutus. One person with non-life-threatening injuries taken to a local hospital.

Circle Drive, 1200 block, 10:20 p.m. June 13. Crews responded to the report of an unconscious person in Arbutus and transported one seriously ill person to a local hospital.

Southwestern Boulevard and Linden Avenue, 5:10 p.m. June 12 Crews responded to the report of a motor vehicle accident in Arbutus and found property damage, but not injuries.

Oregon Avenue, 5500 block, 3:11 p.m. June 11. Crews responded to the report of a fire and extinguished a small trash fire.

Warren Tree Way, 4600 block, 2:10 p.m. June 10. Crews responded to the report of a person having chest pain and transported one seriously ill person to a local hospital.
