Head of the Class: North Baltimore County college students earn degrees, honors

Megan Uebersax, of Sparks, graduated from Berry College, Rome, Ga. with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Spanish.

Lauren M. Thomas, of White Hall, graduated from Millersville University of Pennsylvania on May 12 with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies.

Isabelle Guestier Goelet, of Sparks, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Museology and the History of Art with a secondary emphasis in Education from Juniata College, Huntingdon, Pa., on May 12.

Kaitlyn Love, of Sparks Glencoe, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Bucknell University, Lewisburg, Pa.

Anna Schmitt, of Parkton, a senior professional writing major, has been named to the Senior Honor Society at York College of Pennsylvania, York, Pa.

Camille Campanella, of Glen Arm, received the Department Award in Economics at St. Mary's College of Maryland,St. Mary's City on April 27.

Marybeth Bindel, of Glen Arm, Samuel Ellis, of Hydes, and Stephanie Schell, of Jarrettsville, were named to the dean's list for the 2012 spring semester at Messiah College, Grantham, Pa.

Eric Keppeler, of Baldwin, graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Finance from the University of Notre Dame, South Bend, Ind., on May 20.

Eric Woods, of Glen Arm, graduated from Lebanon Valley College, Annville, Pa., with a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science and Economics on May 12. He also received the Achievement Award in Economics at the Spring Awards and Recognition Ceremony on April 19.

Suzanne Sullivan, of White Hall and Andrew Ebey, of Jarrettsville, were named to the spring 2012 dean's list at Lebanon Valley College, Annville, Pa.

Gibson Donohue, from Butler, graduated recently with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Economics from Colgate University, Hamilton, N.Y.

Blaine Dulkerian, of White Hall, received a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations; Christina Heilman, of Jarrettsville, received a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Kelsey Kinnear, of Upperco, received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology fromQuinnipiac University, Hamden, Conn., on May 20.

Lyndsey Hiss, of Baldwin, received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology during May commencement ceremonies at the University of Vermont, Burlngton, Vt.

Christine Cook, of Baldwin, was inducted into Kappa Gamma Pi, the national Catholic honor society at Notre Dame of Maryland University on May 23.

Maharlika Ramos, of White Hall, graduated with a master's degree in secondary education; and Jennifer Sterling, of Upperco, graduated with a master's degree in elementary education from McDaniel College, Westminster, on May 19.
