Ray Rice hasn't signed his one-year tender with the Ravens that will pay him about $7.7 million and isn't participating in the three-day minicamp this week, so he needs to make a little cash right now.
Xenith, LLC, manufacturer of the X2 football helmet and other protective equipment, announced today that the Ravens running back will be "a Xenith brand ambassador and will promote Xenith's strategy for Building the Enlightened Warrior," according to a news release.
Terms of the deal were not announced.
“I am excited to be a part of the Xenith team and involved with such an important mission,” Rice said in the release. “Xenith's brand is second to none, and speaking from personal experience, I had the best year of my career wearing the Xenith X2.”
