It's raining on the tall ships as they make their way through the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay, but spectators won't have to stand in the drizzle to watch the sails in the Baltimore harbor.
Once a cold front passes through Wednesday morning, dry weather is in the forecast through the weekend for the Star-Spangled Sailabration, commemorating the bicentennial of the War of 1812 and the Battle of Baltimore.
Skies should be mostly cloudy, providing some shade for spectators. The ships are slated to arrive between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Wednesday. Thursday through Monday, ships will be open for tours from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Inner Harbor and Fells Point and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. in Locust Point.
High temperatures are forecast to be seasonable, from the upper 70s to the low 80s.
