Lansdowne, senior, pitcher

Four-year varsity player had two no-hitters, including a perfect game, and 10 shutouts

Opponents batted just .200 against her

All-County selection batted .460 with seven home runs and 32 RBIs

Mackenzie Thompson

Liberty, senior, pitcher

Led the Lions to the Class 2A state championship, the first in program history.

Allowed two runs on two hits, with 11 strikeouts and three walks over seven innings in the title game.

Finished the season 20-2 with a 1.20 ERA and

batted .459 with a homer and 16 RBIs

Leah Allen

Glenelg, junior, infielder

•Led Howard County with seven home runs and led her team in 13 offensive categories

Batted .533 with 25 RBIs, 32 runs and 22 stolen bases on 23 attempts

Started every game at shortstop; will play at Kent State

Kristina Dillard

Broadneck, junior, infielder-catcher

Batted .506 with seven doubles, four triples, and two home runs

Knocked in 43 RBIs and scored 20 runs; Slugged .765 with on-base percentage of .636

A converted catcher, spent most of her time at shortstop and had a fielding percentage of .913.

Kimberly Federowicz

Broadneck, senior, infielder

Batted .494 with one home run and 26 RBIs with 13 doubles and 34 runs

"Made numerous outstanding defensive plays at third base," coach Don Ellenberger said

Repeats as All-Metro selection and was also All-County and team captain; will attend Lynchburg

Melanie Gunning

Archbishop Spalding, senior, infielder

Has played every inning at shortstop for the Cavaliers since her freshman year

Batted a team-high .400 with

17 RBIs, nine doubles and one home run

IAAM A Conference All-Star

Sage McGrann

Howard, senior, infielder

Batted .514 with 26 RBIs

Came up with several big hits in helping Howard to a 17-4 record

Posted an on-base percentage of .556

Olivia Ravadge

Chesapeake-AA, junior, infielder

Broke the state record with 54 RBIs this season

Batted .457 with five homers and three triples

"Her size is deceiving for the amount of power she hits with," coach Don Ellenberger said.

Melanie Slowinski

Glen Burnie , senior, infielder

Four year-varsity starter batted .548 with five home runs and 27 RBIs

Had a .905 field percentage with 40 putouts

Will play at Rutgers next year

Allison Williams

Eastern Tech, senior, infielder

Batted .452 with

27 RBIs, six doubles, three triples and two home runs

"She always seemed to come through with some clutch hits at the plate," coach Jack Meyers said.

Will play at Frostburg next season

Paige Briganti

Severna Park, senior, outfielder

Four-year starter batted .569 with 25 RBI and 15 stolen bases

Center fielder had 26 putouts, three assists and no errors. "I call her automatic, but she is more than that, she can cover just about anywhere in the outfield," coach Meredith McCalister said.

Will attend Washington College to play softball and study engineering.
