Mary Lou and the Untouchables on stage for Feet on the Street

Mary Lou and the Untouchables will be the musical group Friday, June 8, 6 to 9 p.m., when the Towson's Feet on the Street Friday night block parties continue on Allegheny Avenue, between Washington Avenue and York Road.

Sponsored by the Towson Chamber of Commerce, the series includes live music, food, children's activities, prizes, beer and wine.

According to the chamber website, there will also be a moon bounce for children, a limbo contest and Hula-Hoops for the young and the young at heart.

Mary Lou and the Untouchables perform a blend of rhythm and blues, classic rock and original tunes.

Members include vocalist Mary Lou Magee, drummer Mark St Pierre, Bobby Peters on bass, Danny Ray on guitar, Charlie Hamilton on piano, Brian Sanders on trumpet, and Alan "The Hit Man" Dahlstrom and Mo "Motown" Goldman on saxophones.

For the event, Allegheny Avenue between York Road and Washington Avenue will be closed between 6 and 9:30 p.m. People may bring lawn chairs, as no seating will be provided. Pets and outside alcoholic beverages are prohibited.

After this week, the schedule for the next several weeks at the Feet on the Street parties is as follows:

June 15 — The Rat Pack

June 22 — Tony Berry and New Money
