Another opportunity for you to show your love for dogs: On Wednesday, June 13, Magooby's Joke House in Timonium will launch their first-ever "Magooby's Goes to the Dogs." It's a night of standup comedy hosted by WBAL radio guy Marc Unger.

The admission price is $12 per person, and proceeds will go to two area rescue shelters: Luna's House and Jasmine's House.

But, wait! There's always more. The event includes a silent auction of a montage by Robert McClintock called "Commit to a Pit," dog-related paintings by the same artist and lots of info from other shelters and dog rescue groups.

The evening starts at 6:45 p.m. The show begins at 7:30. Magooby's Joke House is located at 9603 Deereco Road, Timonium; 410-252-2727.
