QUINNIPIAC UNIVERSITY: Blaine Dulkerian of White Hall, bachelor of arts in public relations; and Christina Heilman of Jarrettsville, bachelor of arts in public relations, graduated from Quinnipiac University during the 81st undergraduate commencement exercises May 20.

VINCIGUERRA: Damon A. Vinciguerra, of Forest Hill, son of Anthony and Linda Vinciguerra of Forest Hill, graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science in chemical engineering May 20 from Bucknell University. He is a graduate of Fallston High School.

VICK: Lindsay Vick, of Bel Air, received a Juris Doctor degree from the Roger Williams University School of Law during commencement ceremonies May 18. Vick served as program coordinator for the Association of Public Interest Law, developmental editor of the Law Review, co-founder of the National Lawyers Guild and general member of the Environmental Law Society. She served as a law intern to Justice Francis X. Flaherty at the Rhode Island Supreme Court. Also, she was a student attorney at the Roger Williams University Immigration Clinic in Providence, R.I. Vick will begin post-graduate work as a law clerk at the Rhode Island Trial Court Law Department in Providence in August. Vick earned her bachelor of arts in philosophy and Spanish from George Mason University in Fairfax, Va. She is the daughter of Barbara and Gordon Vick, of Bel Air. She is the spouse of Marcel Davelouis, of Fall River, Mass.

LYCOMING COLLEGE: The following local students graduated from Lycoming College on May 6: Benjamin Brody, of Forest Hill, with a bachelor of arts in business; Matthew Long, of Forest Hill, with a bachelor of arts in business; Emily Stinemire, of Fallston, with a bachelor of arts in communications; and Matthew Sledzik, of White Hall, with a bachelor of arts in psychology.

NOTRE DAME OF MARYLAND UNIVERSITY: Notre Dame of Maryland University College of Graduate Studies and College of Adult Undergraduate Studies announced departmental awards for the 2011-2012 academic year on May 23. The following local students were among those honored: Rahilla Bachu, of Havre de Grace, received the Academic Achievement in Nursing Award; Gail Becker, of Bel Air, was inducted into Kappa Gamma Pi, the national Catholic honor society; Diane DiBerardo, of Abingdon, received the Academic Achievement in Leadership and Management Award; Bonnie Lyon, of Edgewood, received the Academic Achievement in Teaching Award and was inducted into Kappa Gamma Pi; Glenn Mathias, of Abingdon, was inducted into Kappa Gamma Pi; Rachel Novak, of Edgewood, received the Sister Oliver Hudon Human Services Award and was inducted into Kappa Gamma Pi; Dennett Rose, of Street, received the Pollard Prize; Joseph Sieling, of Abingdon, received the Academic Achievement in Education Award; Sheila Slayton, of Joppa, received the Education Leadership, Scholarship and Spirit Award; Joyce Stathakis, of Bel Air, was inducted into Kappa Gamma Pi; Susan Waldhauser, of Fallston, received the Liberal Arts Award for Outstanding Achievement. At Notre Dame of Maryland University's annual College of Adult Undergraduate Studies (CAUS) and College of Graduate Studies recognition ceremony on May 23, Rahilla Bachu, a resident of Havre de Grace, received the Academic Achievement in Nursing Award.

SALISBURY UNIVERSITY: Jessica Deane, daughter of Kenneth and Michele Deane of Bel Air, received the Thomas E. Bellavance Honors Program Award at the 2012 Spring Honors Convocation at Salisbury University. The awards are given each year to students who have been active participants in the Bellavance Honors Program and who have maintained the highest overall grade point averages of all Honors students.

Matthew Tarbert, son of Jackie and Steve Tarbert of Bel Air, received the Perdue Scholar Award at the 2012 Spring Honors Convocation at Salisbury University. The Franklin P. Perdue School of Business awards four-year scholarships based on outstanding scholastic achievement to entering freshmen. Recipients must maintain a 3.3 or better grade point average, complete at least 30 credits per year and pursue one of the majors in the Perdue School of Business. Tarbert is a senior majoring in marketing and information systems. He is a participant in intramural sports. Tarbert is a 2009 graduate of C. Milton Wright High School in Bel Air.

Alexandra Iannucci, daughter of Robert and Robin Iannucci of Joppatowne, received the Whall Honors Award for Writing Excellence at the 2012 Spring Honors Convocation at Salisbury University. The Bellavance Honors Program recognizes one or more distinguished first-year honors students who are in good standing in the honors program and excels in writing skills. Iannucci is a freshman majoring in elementary education. She is a member of the women's rugby team, CRU and the Phi Eta Sigma national freshman honor society and captain of the Quidditch team. Iannucci is a 2011 graduate of Redeemer Classical Christian High School in Kingsville.
