Police investigate two early morning shootings

Two victims found shot in west side neighborhoods

Baltimore city police are investigating two unrelated shootings that occurred early Monday morning.

One unidentified man was shot in the head at about 12:30 a.m. in the 3600 block of Beehler St., east of Reisterstown Road in the Central Park Heights area. He was taken to an area hospital where his condition is unknown.

In the second incident, police found a 35-year-old man at 12:53 a.m. in the 2700 block of W. Baltimore St., near South Franklintown Road in the Shipley Hill neighborhood. He was suffering from gunshot wounds to his abdomen and was taken to an area hospital, where he remains in good condition, police said.
