ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — The Orioles look to halt their six-game losing streak in today's 4:05 p.m. game against the Rays at Tropicana Field. Baltimore had lost six straight for the first time since Aug. 16-21, 2011.
The Orioles are struggling in both facets of the game. The starting rotation has pitched to a 8.06 ERA over their last five starts (26 R, 23 ER, 25 2/3 IP), while the offense has scored just 14 runs over the sis-game losing streak. They are hitting .233 in that span and don't have an extra-base hit in the last two games.
