Police: Man shot multiple times in West Baltimore

22-year-old shot in back in Franklin Square neighborhood

A 22-year-old man was shot multiple times in the back shortly before 9 p.m. Saturday in West Baltimore, according to police.

Police responded to reports of gunfire in the Franklin Square neighborhood and determined the man had been shot in the 1700 block of W. Lexington St., according to Det. Donny Moses, a police spokesman.

An investigation was ongoing late Saturday, police said.

No other information was immediately available.
