'Moonlight and Magnolias'

Comedy about the writing of the movie script for "Gone with the Wind" runs June 8-30 at the Colonial Players, 108 East St. in Annapolis. Performances are at 8 p.m. Thursdays-Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays, with a 7:30 p.m. performance on June 17. Tickets are $20 and $15 and can be purchased at or by calling 410-268-7373.

Book sale

Thousands of books, videotapes, and miscellaneous items will be on sale Saturday-Sunday, June 2-3, at 1718 Urby Drive in Crofton. Hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. both days. Prices range from 25 cents to $1. Fill a bag for $5. All proceeds donated to the Crofton Community Center.

Reunion notice

A half-century has passed since Baltimore's City College graduated over 600 boys in 1962, and a reunion is being arranged for Oct. 13. Organizers are trying to contact every class member but haven't found everybody. Graduates from either the February or June classes who have not been contacted may email or call 410-381-6506.

'Stones in His Pockets'

The Dignity Players presents Marie Jones' award-winning play about a quiet Irish community turned upside down by the arrival of a Hollywood movie shoot. 'Dracula' auditions

Bowie Community Theatre will hold auditions for its production of "Dracula," written by Hamilton Deane and John Balderston, at 7 p.m. June 11-12, with callbacks on June 13, at the Bowie Playhouse, 16500 White Marsh Park Drive. Home and garden tour

The Eastport Civic Association's seventh annual Home & Garden Tour takes place, rain or shine, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. June 10. It features 10 homes and gardens in a quiet, lesser-known area of the west side of the Eastport peninsula, between Boucher Avenue and Spa Creek. Participants will have an opportunity to see behind the front doors and into the gardens of these homes located on Boucher Avenue, Moss Haven Court, Quarter Landing Road, Miami Avenue and Wells Landing. Food allergy awareness

The Bowie Baysox will hold Food Allergy Awareness Day as they host the Reading Phillies at 2:05 p.m. Sunday, June 3, at Prince George's Stadium. It's an opportunity for fans with food allergies that would typically keep them away from a baseball game to spend an afternoon at the ballpark in an allergen-free environment. Fans attending will have the option to watch the game from the Gluten-Free Suite or the Food-Free Suite. Gluten-Free Suite tickets are $14.50 and include a voucher for a hot dog on a gluten-free bun, chips, regular soft drink and a gluten-free cookie. Food-Free Suite tickets are $12. The suites will be cleaned extensively before the game and will be kept clear of all food during the game. Fans will be permitted to bring bottled water and soda into the suite during the game, and can choose to watch the game from the luxury box or an outdoor balcony in front of the suite. Golf tournament

Archbishop Spalding High School will host the annual Lt. James Love Alumni Golf Tournament at Queenstown Harbor Golf Courses on June 7. Registration begins at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. The tournament was established in memory of the 1977 graduate, a Navy pilot who died during Operation Desert Shield. Registration includes greens fees, a bag of gifts, lunch and dinner. Caregiver workshops
