Kerry Stoothoff, Loyola
Senior, Blue Point, N.Y., goalie
Stoothoff made 10 saves in last weekend's 10-9 win over Penn to open the NCAA tournament, including two in overtime. Her final stop with 20 seconds left set up the game-winning goal with three seconds to go. The first player in Big East Conference history to earn tournament Most Outstanding Player twice, she led the Greyhounds to back-to-back conference titles. Stoothoff is an All-Big East selection and has 21 games in her career with 10 or more saves. She has a .468 save percentage and has played her best in the biggest games as the Greyhounds advanced to the NCAA quarterfinals for the second year in a row.
