A small craft advisory is in effect Friday for the Maryland Chesapeake Bay and the tidal Potomac River.

Friday night is expected to be clear, with a low around 55 and west winds between 5 and 8 miles per hour or less.

Saturday is expected to be sunny, with a high near 80 and west winds between 5 and 7 miles per hour.

Saturday night is expected to be partly cloudy, with a low around 63 and south winds between 3 and 5 miles per hour.
