There is a 40 percent chance of precipitation before 8 a.m. and after 3 p.m. The weather service warns that a few afternoon and evening thunderstorms may produce damaging wind gusts and large hail.
Friday night is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a low around 68 and northwest winds between 3 and 5 miles per hour. There is a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 11 p.m.
