The National Weather Service is calling for Thursday to be mostly cloudy in the Baltimore area, with a high near 85 and light south winds. There is a 50 percent chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms before 8 a.m. and again after 2 p.m. The weather service warns that some of the thunderstorms could bring "damaging winds."

Thursday night is expected to bring increasing clouds, with a low around 65 and south winds around 5 miles per hour. There is a 30 percent chance of precipitation, mainly before 8 p.m.

Friday is expected to be partly sunny, with a high near 86 and south winds between 3 and 6 miles per hour. There is a 30 percent chance of showers, mainly after noon.

Friday night is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a low around 69 and west winds between 3 and 5 miles per hour. There is a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 2 a.m.
