The National Weather Service is calling for Tuesday to be mostly cloudy in the Baltimore area, with showers, a high near 81 and west winds between 10 and 15 miles per hour. Showers are likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 8 a.m. Between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m., there is a chance of showers. After 11 a.m., there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms. The likelihood of precipitation is 60 percent.

A small craft advisory is in effect late Tuesday morning and Tuesday afternoon for the Maryland Chesapeake Bay and the lower tidal Potomac River.

Tuesday night is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a low around 60 and north winds between 5 and 8 miles per hour.

Wednesday is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a high near 78 and east winds between 3 and 7 miles per hour. There is a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Wednesday night is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a low around 65 and southeast winds around 7 miles per hour. There is a 20 percent chance of precipitation.
