High school football officials and timers are needed in the Washington metropolitan area. Anyone who has reached their 18th birthday prior to Sept. 1, 2012 and has a desire to officiate high school football is eligible. No experience is required. Knowledge of the rules and officiating will be provided during training sessions which start in July.

The Maryland Juniors Volleyball Club is hosting a series of juniors volleyball summer programs. The camps and clinics were designed to meet the needs of all different levels of juniors volleyball players. Buffalo Wild Wing lacrosse is continuing tryouts for its U-13 boys summer team at 6 p.m., May 2 at Chapelgate Christian Academy, 2600 Marriottsville Road, Marriottsville. Registration is being accepted for Howard Boys Lacrosse Camp scheduled for July 16-19 (9 a.m.-noon) at Howard High School in Ellicott City. Sign-in will begin at 8:30 a.m. behind the school. The camp is open to student-athletes entering grades 6-9 this fall. All participants will need a helmet, gloves, elbow pads, shoulder pads, mouth piece, cleats, a stick and a reversible jersey. The Mt. Hebron girls lacrosse camp will be held from 5-8 p.m., June 11-18 at Mt. Hebron High School. The camp is for girls in grades 1-8. Both fundamentals and advanced skills will be taught. Registration forms are available at mthebrongirlslax.com.
All Pro All Stars Cheerleading and Dance will be holding tryouts for their all star cheerleading and hip hop dance teams 2-6 p.m., May 13 and 6-9 p.m., May 16.
