Miranda Ibello broke a tie at 14 by scoring her second and the game-winning goal with two minutes left as No. 5 Maryvale beat host Archbishop Spalding, 15-14, on Friday.
The visiting Lions (8-3) got off to a slow start and fell behind 9-5 at the break. In the second half, Emma Tizard (two goals) won draw controls, and the Lions settled down and ran their offense. Maryvale's Sam Darcangelo finished with five goals.
No. 12 Mount de Sales 20, Garrison Forest 10: Gabby Cha scored four goals and Carly Williams had three goals and four assists for the host Sailors (10-4). All five seniors scored or assisted in the Sailors' Senior Day game.
Boys lacrosse
No. 2 Gilman 13, St. Paul's 3: Denver-bound Gordie Koerber had a hat trick for the host Greyhounds (9-2) in a Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference game.
No. 4 Boys' Latin 9, No. 13 Mount St. Joseph 4: Greg Pyke, Ben Pridemore and Tally Bruno each scored two goals to power the host Lakers (11-5) over the Gaels (11-5).
No. 5 McDonogh 10, No. 12 Archbishop Spalding 3: The host Eagles (8-5) used tough defense to hold the Cavaliers (6-6) to one goal in the first half, and Villanova-bound Austin Frederick had a hat trick to lead McDonogh's offense.

No. 4 Glenelg 9, Atholton 5: The visiting Gladiators (13-2) scored seven runs off eight hits in the first inning.
No. 6 Reservoir 3, Marriotts Ridge 0: Right-hander Cody Morris (5-1) gave up three hits, one walk and struck out five as the visiting Gators (15-1) shut out the Mustangs.
No. 7 Northeast 10, North County 4: Winner Brandon O'Malley (3-for-4) broke a tie at 4 with a two-run double and struck out seven for the host Eagles (12-3).
No. 9 Patterson Mill 8, Elkton 7: Matt Golczewski hit an RBI single to drive in the winning run in the seventh inning as the Huskies (13-2) beat the host Golden Elks.
Archbishop Spalding 10, John Carroll 0: Ryan Wagner pitched a one-hit shutout as the host Cavaliers beat the Patriots.
No. 13 C. Milton Wright 7, Fallston 1: Nick Testa was 2-for-2 with an RBI and Conner Hawes was 2-for-4 with two RBIs as the Mustangs (7-5) scored four runs in the third inning and three in the fifth.
No. 1 Severna Park 14, Southern 3: The visiting Falcons (13-2) scored eight runs in the first inning.
No. 2 Eastern Tech 12, Kenwood 2: Winner Jordan Cargile struck out nine and the host Mavericks (14-2) took a 4-0 lead after three innings.
No. 15 Chesapeake-AA 12, Old Mill 2: Freshman Emily Muller (5-2) worked six innings and the host Cougars (11-5) scored six runs in the third inning.
