Thursday forecast: Showers, highs around 70

The National Weather Service is forecasting a 90 percent chance of showers across the Baltimore region Thursday, with highs near 70 degrees.

Windy conditions are expected, with gusts up to 30 mph in the afternoon. Some showers could include lightning and thunder.

A small craft advisory is in effect for the Chesapeake Bay.

Thursday night, windy conditions are expected to continue, with lows in the mid-40s.

Friday is expected to be sunny and windy, with highs in the lower 60s.
