Calvert Hall fans should like this note that was sent in by one of The Sun's high school writers, Todd Karpovich. He saw it in the New Jersey Star-Ledger high school baseball column:
"I received some calls that Don Bosco Prep was upset by Maryland's Calvert Hall. I can't say Calvert Hall has ever upset anyone. Calvert Hall is the Don Bosco Prep of Maryland."
Don Bosco was ranked No. 4 in the MaxPrep Xcellent 25 when it played the area's No. 1 team, Calvert Hall on Sunday. Calvert Hall won, 9-8. Don Bosco dropped to No. 5 after the game, but Calvert Hall is not yet in the Xcellent 25.
