Victim shot in head and torso dies at scene

Baltimore City police are investigating the shooting death of an unidentified man early Tuesday in the Hamilton Hills area.

Officers, responding to a report of gunshots at 12:52 a.m., found the victim in an alley off the 6200 block of Pioneer Drive, near Mount Pleasant Golf Course and south of the intersection of Northern and Perring parkways.

The victim had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the head and torso. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:01 a.m.
