Police search for bank robber

Baltimore police are seeking help identifying a man who on March 15 robbed a Wells Fargo Bank in the 4800 block of Eastern Ave., near Greektown and just west of Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.

Police said the man handed a teller a note implying he was armed with a handgun. Authorities did not say whether any money was taken.

The assailant is described as a black male in his early 20s, about 6 feet tall and and weighing about 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing dark sunglasses, a gray jacket, and dark jeans.

Anyone with information as to the identity of the suspect is asked to contact the FBI Bank Robbery Squad at 410-265-8080. A reward is being offered here, where you can also brouse photographs of other bank robberies in progress.
