Charges pending in Baltimore Co. triple stabbing

Three young adults injured in neighborhood fight

Baltimore County police said they filed charges against several people Wednesday in a triple stabbing that occurred the day before in the Garrison neighborhood. One victim remains hospitalized and two others have been treated and released, police said.

Police were withholding the names of those charged until after their bail hearings.

Officers were called at 3:45 p.m. to the unit block of Spectator Lane near Reisterstown Road. Residents told police a 20-year-old man had already gone to Northwest Hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries. The victim was later transferred to another hospital, where he remains, police said.

A 19-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman were also stabbed during the altercation outside their residence. They were treated and released from Northwest Hospital Tuesday.

Investigators said a group of five people, including the 20-year-old victim, arrived at the home in a white Crown Victoria. A disagreement ensued among the victims and suspects, who knew each other, police said. The argument escalated into a physical confrontation, with weapons, between those who arrived and the residents of the town home. Police said they have yet to determine what sparked the incident.

As the occupants of the car drove to Northwest Hospital to seek treatment for their friend, witnesses reported gunshots were fired at the vehicle from near Fitzharding Lane and Spectator Lane. One bullet struck the car but did not injure any occupants. Detectives have yet to discover who fired the gun or whether the shots were connected to the fight.
