Meghan DiMauro weds Daniel Whitehurst

Meghan Kristine DiMauro and Daniel Neal Whitehurst were united in marriage on May 14th, 2011 at St. Patrick's Church in Havre de Grace.

FatherWilliam O'Brienofficiated.

The bride is the daughter of Biaggio "Ben" III and Pamela Blevins DiMauro of Havre de Grace. The groom is the son of Ann and Alan Kotz of Marriottsville, and David and Melinda Whitehurst of Phoenix.

The maid of honor was Hilary Melinda DiMauro, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids included Kim Sanner, sister of the groom, Jen Whitehurst, sister-in-law of the groom, Brittany Powell, Jackie Lyon, Elizabeth Nemeth, Jenna Petty, Jenna Duffy, Emily Crone, Monica Zawadski and Lauren Stoner-Nievod, friends of the bride. Flower girls were Bridget and Cecelia Tramontana, Tatum Overbay and Casey and Maren Craig. Ring bearers were Aidan and Joseph Tramontana and Tyler Hall and Donovan Craig, cousins of the bride.

The best man was Dr. Matthew Whitehurst, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Matthew and Tim Davis, brothers of the groom, Ian Anderson, brother of the bride, Kevin Tehan, cousin of the groom, and Adam Betz, Andrew Marshall, Matthew Hashimoto, Fred Sheckells, Clark Turner and Howard Nievod, friends of the groom.

DiMauro is a 2003 graduate of Havre de Grace High School. She received her bachelor's degree in elementary education from Mount St. Mary's University in 2007. The former Baltimore Ravens cheerleader works for Constellation Energy Nuclear Group in Baltimore and is a dance teacher with Havre de Grace Parks and Recreation.

Whitehurst is a 2002 graduate of Centennial High School in Howard County. He received his bachelor's degree in business from Mount St. Mary's University in 2006. In 2010, he earned his master's in real estate from John Hopkins University. He is president of Clark Turner Development.

Whitehurst surprised and proposed to Meghan before the Baltimore Ravens game Dec. 20, 2009 dressed as Santa Claus. The proposal aired in more than 140 different nations.

The reception was held at Bulle Rock Resident's Club in Havre de Grace. After a honeymoon in Belize, the couple is living in Fells Point while they build a home in Bel Air.
