Four men shot in separate incidents in Baltimore

Baltimore police are investigating a fatal shooting at 11:05 p.m. Friday in the 3500 block of W. Belvedere Avenue, one of four recent shootings.

A 25-year-old man was shot multiple times and transported to Sinai Hospital where he died at 11:38 p.m., police said. Detectives are investigating and ask anyone with information to call 410-396-2100.

Officers also responded to a 3 a.m. shooting in the 4100 Boarman Avenue. They found a 23-year-old man at an area hospital with a gunshot wound to his stomach and buttocks. The victim told investigators that he was approached by two suspects on Boarman Avenue who showed him a handgun and robbed him. The suspects took an unknown amount of money and when the victim then attempted to run, he said the suspects shot him, police said. The victim flagged down a vehicle that took him to the hospital.

On Friday, police responded to a call at 8:45 p.m. in the 1900 W. Lafayette Avenue, where a 25-year-old man was shot multiple times and transported to an area hospital for treatment, police said.

At 10:19 p.m., officers responded to a call in the 2000 E. Belvedere Avenue, where they found a 21-year-old man shot in his leg. The victim told investigators that he was approached by two men who attempted to rob him, police said. The victim said the two suspects ran after he was shot in the leg. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment, police said.
