Floating body, found in Middle River, identified

Denis Escobar-Romero, 29, had been missing for a month

The body found Tuesday floating in the water of Dark Head Creek off Beech Drive in Middle River has been identified, Baltimore County police said.

Denis Escobar-Romero, 29, of the 100 block of S. Chester St. in Baltimore, had been missing since Jan. 30, said Detective Cathy Batton, a police spokeswoman.

There were no signs of foul play, she said. The Medical Examiner is working to determine the cause of death.
