Has UVA learned from Huguely case?

February 29, 2012

The silence from the University of Virginia in regard to the case of George Huguely V and Yeardley Love is deafening. There was excessive alcohol abuse and domestic violence that no one reported. Many students saw this and did nothing.

Administrators and the school's men's lacrosse coach had to know this was a problem and took no action. I have not heard of any action from the university to investigate why no one did anything. Under Coach Dom Starsia, Mr. Huguely assaulted another male lacrosse player earlier and remained on the team.
